Ari Waller
Founder, TextHire · Developer Relations, Neo4j
For years, Ari worked as a technology recruiter, placing engineers, architects, and technology leaders into the roles that shaped their careers. Sometimes the same person got placed two, three, even five times over twenty years.
That career eventually pulled Ari into Developer Relations. He's built technical communities at JFrog and now Neo4j, served on the boards of the Atlanta Java User Group (AJUG) and the Garden State Java User Group, and created the TLC4 framework (Technology, Leadership, Career Path, Commute, Compensation, Culture) to help developers think about what actually makes a career sustainable.
The Techies in Your Neighborhood is what happens when the recruiter's instinct and the community-builder's curiosity point at the same question. It's what happens when Ari calls back the people he placed years ago, placement by placement, to ask one simple thing: what happened next?
